Who the hell is Buddha?

Gautama Buddha a.k.a. Siddhārtha Gautama but better known as The Buddha, kind of like The Dude, was a wise Indian ascetic on whose teachings the religion of Buddhism was founded. HIs followers refer to him as an enlightened teacher.
